Amy Ray and Emily Saliers' sold out performance at the Buskirk-Chumley Theater started off a miraculous rise in the artists offered in the BCT presents season, which has seen the likes of Lyle Lovett, Joan Baez, John Hiatt, The Temptations and many other award winning artists.

Long time activists for human rights, Ray and Saliers are not only identified as leaders of the movement for LGBTQ rights and equality, but are recognized for their efforts for women's rights, poverty awareness, environmental sustainability and the rights of Native Americans.
