Welcome to the September meeting of the White River Valley PLFAG (parents, families and friends of lesbian, gay, bisexual & transgender persons) chapter in Owen County Indiana.

The meeting will be held on Sunday, September 14 at 4:30pm in Spencer. The theme of the meeting is “Getting To Know Each Other”. We will discuss issues affecting GLBT persons and their families.

We will spend time getting to know each other and discussing support issues. Refreshments will be provided.

PFLAG (Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Persons) is a national non-profit organization with a membership of over 77,000 households and more than 425 affiliates worldwide.

The group’s mission is to promote the health and well-being of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender persons, their families and friends through support, education and advocacy. PFLAG provides opportunity for dialogue about sexual orientation and gender identity and acts to create a society that is healthy and respectful of human diversity.
