All activities will be held at the Adam’s Mark Hotel on the Westside of Indianapolis adjacent to the Airport. The events begin with Executive and General Board meetings on Thursday, August 14. Worship services open to the public begin on Friday August 15 @ 12:30 PM. The worship services continue periodically throughout the following days and evenings ending on Sunday, August 17 at around 1 PM. For a complete schedule visit the denomination’s website address: www.AffirmingApostolics.com The organization, Global Alliance of Affirming Apostolic Pentecostals, (GAAAP) has achieved incredible growth having only started with two ministers in it’s beginning in 2007, and as of mid-summer 2008 had around forty ministers from five countries and fifteen states. For many years the GLBT community has largely been neglected by religious organizations, particularly Pentecostal ones. A major shift has taken place all around the world in GLBT communities as more GLBT persons reclaim their various faiths. GAAAP is an organization of Apostolic Pentecostals whose religious practice includes lively worship, dynamic preaching, miracles, baptism in Jesus’ name, and speaking in tongues. GAAAP differentiates itself from other Apostolic Pentecostal organizations in that almost all of its ministers and members are either gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, or straight allies. Rev.
