Indianapolis - Over twenty vendors will be present at the Inaugural GBLT Wedding Expo at Jesus MCC May 17th from 1 till 6pm, making it "one stop shopping" for GBLT couples, and their allies, to plan their wedding ceremony.

The Wedding Expo is the brainchild of Miranda Marsico of Bloomz by Miranda, and Mark Lee of Great Exposures, who believe they have identified a need for such an event the Midwest area. "There are Expos in NY and LA, but up until now, there hasn't been anything for people here in the Midwest to go to," says Marsico. Both Lee and Marsico are members of the Indy Rainbow Chamber, a participating sponsor of the event.

Lee and Marsico were overwhelmed by the positive response when they presented their idea in the early spring. "There is a definite need for this in the Indianapolis area", says Lee, "And we hope to make this one of many in the years to come." Churches, catering companies, florist, photographers, and even counselors, will be represented, along with Disc Jockey's, bridal shops, gift shops, and other wedding vendors. Doors open at 1pm at Jesus MCC, and prizes, including a honeymoon package, will be given away throughout the day.
