Girls Rock! film (Indy)Submitted by John Clower on May 5, 2008 - 1:34pm.
05/10/2008 - 7:00pm Etc/GMT-5 Indyindie is having a Night at the Movies at Key Cinemas, 4044 S. Keystone Ave., Indianapolis, with the 7 pm showing of Girls Rock! This indie production was filmed at a girls Rock 'n' Roll Camp, where girls ranging in age from eight to 18 are taught that it's OK to sweat like a pig, scream like a banshee, wail on their instruments with complete and utter abandon, and that "it is 100% okay to be exactly who you are." This is a "must see" for independent music lovers. Please join us this Saturday to hang and enjoy this film with old and new friends and to support Key Cinemas, another great independent business. Tickets are $6.50 at the door with all proceeds going to Key Cinemas. As always, Ron will have that amazing caramel corn as well as the other usual movie concessions. If you can't make it Saturday at 7 pm, please try to go to another showing of this incredible film. Check the Key Cinemas website for additional times. ( categories: )
