OUTSpoken is bringing its national advocacy training program for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) parents, guardians and allies to Indiana. The training is provided free of charge, and will prepare participants to speak out in their communities on behalf of LGBTQ families. Takes place at St. Luke's United Methodist Church, 100 West 86th St, Indianapolis.

Topics covered include telling your family story with impact; how to talk about LGBTQ family issues with different kinds of people; how LGBTQ parents, guardians and their allies can change hearts and minds in their daily lives; and best practices for dealing with the media, politicians, and more.

Since 2006, OUTSpoken trainings have been conducted in 15 cities. More than 450 people have been trained in person, making a huge impact on the lives of LGBTQ parents, their families and communities. To learn more about the program, visit .
