The Festival is an exuberant celebration of LGBTQ communities and a Bloomington tradition drawing film fans from far and wide. Films will be shown at the historic Buskirk-Chumley Theater and at Indiana University, Bloomington. In addition, PRIDE features filmmaker prizes, panel discussions, and "the best dance party in town!"

This year's festival includes: free films and panel discussions on the IU Bloomington campus, including a rare glimpse of erotica shorts from the Kinsey Institute's film archives; discussion of Indiana filmmaker Catherine Crouch's controversial film, The Gendercator, featuring noted film scholars Judith Halberstam and Susan Stryker; and a retrospective of films by Marlon Riggs, an award-winning African-American performance artist and HIV/AIDS activist. Plus, we are teaming up with a local sculptor and Mardi Gras float designer to bring you a closing-night party you'll never forget!
