The Pride of Indy Jazz Ensemble will continue its 2009 performance schedule as a featured act of the Indy Parks' Summer Pops free concert series. The concert in the out-of-doors will be offered on Thursday, July 9th at 7:00 pm at the MacAllister Center for the Performing Arts at Garfield Park (Indianapolis).

The performance will feature the 16-piece jazz ensemble and a special vocalist from the region.

Bring a picnic basket, your favorite drink and enjoy an evening of great entertainment in this unique venue!

Join a queer bike caravan to Camp Trans – an annual festival in Michigan meant to protest transwoman exclusion from the Michigan Women's Music Festival and advocate for trans-inclusion in women-only spaces. Explore and discuss issues of gender identity and trans exclusion/inclusion in gender constructed spaces within the queer and feminist movements.

When? August 1-15 (includes bike travel time and a few days at CT)
