2009 Midwest BLGTA College Conference (B'ton) Start: 12:00 pm End: 12:00 pm The 2009 Midwest Bisexual Lesbian Gay Transgender Ally College Conference is coming soon to Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. The mission of the Midwest Bisexual Lesbian Gay Transgender Ally College Conference (MBLGTACC) 2009 is to engage students, faculty, and staff of the regional Midwest in issues relevant to the BLGTA community. We encourage activism and networking to inspire members of our community to promote diversity, equality, and social justice. We hope to empower all BLGTA individuals with the means to truly live out loud. Kinsey Exhibit: Pre-Revolutionary Queer (B'ton) Start: 2:00 pm End: 4:00 pm Pre-Revolutionary Queer: Gay Art and Culture Before Stonewall October 24, 2008 - February 14, 2009 On June 27, 1969 a riot broke out at the Stonewall Inn in New York's Greenwich Village. For the police it was a routine raid on a gay bar, but this time the patrons decided to resist, setting off three days of protest that are now credited with launching the modern gay rights movement.
