The Indy Pride John Alexander Hoosier 250 Tricycle Races & Silent Auction will be held this Sunday, May 18, in the Scholar’s Parking Lot at the corner of College & Massachusetts Avenue. Registration forms are available online at www.indyprideinc.com. Teams can also register the day of the event. Registration is $25.00 per team. Silent auction items are still needed if anyone would like to donate please contact Gary Brackett at gkbracke@iupui.edu. INDIANAPOLIS – The Pride of Indy Band has been invited to perform in two concerts as part of the 2008 Garfield Park Summer Concert Series. The first will showcase our Jazz Band and the second will highlight our Concert ensemble. The Pride of Indy Jazz Band, under the direction of John Joanette, was founded in 2006, and is Indiana’s only LGBT jazz ensemble. The group and its “parent organization”, the Pride of Indy, boasts a yearly performance calendar filled with over 12 concerts and special appearances at ommunity events. Friday May 23, 2008
